Destash and Giveaway Update.

October 19, 2010  |  Featured Posts

This is a quick post to let you know that I’ve added some items to my destash page and also to once again ask Melissa D to get in touch.
Melissa D. – if I don’t hear from you by Friday (which is a week after the giveaway was drawn) then I’ll redraw the giveaway with the remaining names.

Thanks again for the comments – they brighten up my day.

I’m enjoying the colour of this mini orchid – it is so intense but the orchid is very, very small.

  1. Hi Anne,

You have a beautiful blog. I love your wonderful
photos and the weekly poem is a nice treat.

I have never been to Scotland myself (yet) but we
have friends who live just outside of Glasgow
and my grandmother was born in Scotland – many,
    many years ago. (Very many!!)

I love seeing your pictures of Edinburgh as I can
pretend to be traveling around and sight seeing
the many places in that beautiful city that I’ve
always wanted to see in real life.

Lucky you…you shop at Marks and Spencer. We use
to have Marks and Spencer here in Canada and there
was one near to where I use to work so I could pop
in there and do a bit of shopping whenever I wanted
to. Alas, they closed up all their stores and went
home quite a few years ago now and I can’t buy my
favorite treats from their food section, or clothes
    or other lovely things.

I look forward to getting to know you through your
    blog. Have a great week!

    Judy

  2. Hello Ann –

A quick note to let you know that your package full of goodies arrived safely yesterday! It was like a birthday gift with so many cute items inside. As I mentioned before, autumn and Halloween are my favorites to stitch for so I know the Cross-Eyed Cricket chart and buttons will get used soon. Thank you for including fabric as well.

I’m assuming you made the lovely fob and the darling bracelet as well. I will probably give the bracelet to my daughter as it includes black and teal – the team colors for her favorite hockey team the San Jose Sharks 🙂 And she can “believe” they might win the Stanley Cup this season.

I want to thank you again for the generous giveaway – it’s wonderful!
