Sunshine and showers.

As you can see I’ve made a little progress this week.  I’m enjoying the stitching process but I seem to be so slow at the moment.

I’ve also been doing a little knitting – I’ve finished the little red pouch but I’ve still to sew it together.  I’m planning on making one in green, black and pink as well – one to match with each animal.

They are fun to knit, very relaxing.  I’m currently knitting a needlebook as well which I’ll post a photo of when I’ve made more progress.

It’s been a mixed week with us – we’ve had extremely windy weather mixed with sunshine and showers.

Our schools break this Friday for Easter and Matthew will be off for over two weeks.  I’m planning on having a week off work too so hopefully I’ll get a bit more crafting time.

Thanks for the continued comments, I always enjoy reading them and they very often give me a smile.

Take care wherever you are.

  1. Your new banner is getting bigger and i love those animals.
They sure look like fun to work on.

    Hugs Yvon.

  2. Your banner is a wonderful design, and the colors are so pretty! I think you have made very good progress. I also love your little pouch. It will be so pretty in the many different colors. Enjoy your week off work!

  3. Your banner is looking so pretty! Great knitting too. Enjoy your time off.

  4. Hello, Ann! I love how your banner is coming along. It’s just perfect for this time of year!

I am just catching up on your blog posts. I am amazed too, after your harsh winter, that you have all those lovely flowers blooming in your garden. While our winter has been mild in comparison, everything is about a month late! It’s been a long wet winter here!

Love your little knitted pouch. Wish I could be there with you and you can be my knitting godmother! 🙂

  5. Both projects are just lovely! Those animals are so cute!!!

  6. Your banner and the knitting are looking lovely, great progress

  7. The little knitted bags are so cute Ann. How are you designing your banner? Are you charting them up letter by letter, or is the whole thing planned out now? Or are you stitching each letter as the mood takes you? Whichever way it is looking glorious. Irene xxx

Lovely banner – look forward to watching progress
