Meet “Rosa”.

This little whirling dervish is the reason I’ve not had a chance to post as usual.  We collected her on Saturday and I’ve not had a minute since.

She is a full sister to Poppy – there’s roughly nine months between them.  We made a twelve hour round trip on to collect her and she has settled in really well.

She is a chocolate Burmese whereas Poppy is a lilac Burmese.  You can see the difference in shading in the photos.  Rosa will gradually darken down in colour but her underside will stay a lovely rich creamy shade.

Poppy looks huge alongside her and it’s hard to remember her being this small.  Initially Poppy was extremely unhappy at her presence but we’re making gradual progress.

As you can imagine, I’ve not been stitching or knitting.  I’ve abandoned the Bargello Etui as I went completely off it as it started to grow.  I’m hoping to start a band sampler which I will perhaps be able to show in my next post.

I’m on annual leave next week and I’m hoping to find time to craft despite two kitties running amok.

Thanks for dropping by and for taking time to comment. I do enjoy hearing from you all. Take care.
