New banner – at last.

At last I’ve finished my banner – trust me this will be the last I will be stitching for a while.  It took me much longer than I thought it would.  Now I’ve moved back onto stitching a gift I was working on months ago.

It’s a combination of two Shepherd’s Bush kits.

I’ve not posted for a couple of weeks due to the fact that I’ve been under the weather with some kind of virus (at least that’s what I think it is).  I can’t seem to shake it completely so some evenings I feel like crafting and others I can’t seem to motivate myself.

Two of the items I’ve been working on were for an exchange so I can’t show them till they reach their destination which is literally the other side of the world.  It’s my first ever exchange so it was a new experience for me.  One item is knitted and the other is beading.

I’ve revamped the photos in my gallery to include the letters from my banner for a short while.  The reason I did this is that several people have asked me about the lettering and I thought it might be nice if anyone wanted a closer look then it’s easy to click the gallery photos and get a close up.

The letters are all taken from Cricket Collection seasons charts and all I’ve done is customise them to suit.  I hope you like what I did with them.

The above photo sums up our weather of late.  Last month and the start of this month we’ve had a mix of extremely wet, windy and cold with one day of extreme heat thrown in.

Thanks for popping in today, I hope you drop in again soon.
